Hi there! I’m Amanda Satterwhite, owner and founder of Cheverly Home Inspections. After purchasing, learning about, and fixing up two 1940s homes myself here in the DMV, I grew to love the puzzle of how houses and their systems work. I eventually pivoted to home inspection as a career to help individuals and families better understand their future homes.

I bring an eye for detail and patience to my home inspections. My goal is to provide information on what’s working well, what’s not, what’s a simple, charming quirk, and what might arise as an expensive problem down the line. I am never too rushed to answer your questions!
